Digital Ship Athens - in association with AMMITEC - October 19-20 2006

we are holding our fourth annual Digital Ship Athens, in association with the shipping company IT managers association AMMITEC, on October 19-20 in the Metropolitan Hotel. This is the original Digital Ship event and one of the best.
Plans are in an early stage - I am very keen to hear suggestions about which topics would be covered, and also suggestions of presentations from shipping company speakers -
I would like to sort out the supplier speakers after doing the shipping company speakers, but suppliers are welcome to send in proposals at this stage (please see our criteria for supplier speakers on the front page of our website).
Likely topics include: satellite communications, managing ship-shore data, software / business processes, managing shipboard PCs, electronic chart systems / electronics, improving usability of shipboard systems, electronic purchasing, computer based training.
