DNV GL webinar on EU Ship Recycling Regulation and IHM

Jan 16 2020

DNV GL is running a free webinar on Jan 23rd about EU Ship Recycling Regulation and IHM (Inventory Hazardous Materials) – how to prepare for compliance

Starting from 31 December 2020, ships above 500 GT and flying the flag of an EU/EEA member state, or third-party flagged vessels calling at European ports, must carry an Inventory Hazardous Materials (IHM) certificate on board.

IHM preparation of a vessel can be quite time-consuming, so our recommendation is to start the process as early as possible.

What you will gain in this complimentary webinar:

  • Regulatory background
  • IHM in more detail, incl. preparation timeline, class approval, certification and maintenance
  • Other practical recommendations to become IHM-compliant
  • A brief summary on ship recycling regulations
  • Q&A session

Your registration

You can choose between two sessions on 23 January:

09:00 - 10:00 or 16:00 - 17:00 (Central European Time).
