Tanker freight rates have hit three-month highs for vessels using the 21-mile-wide Strait of Hormuz, according to Platts.

An online infographic shows that VLCC rates on Persian Gulf to China route, in $/mt, have risen from around 10 in May 2019 to arond 30 after the US killed General Qasem Soleimani in January 2020.
