Tankers not loading in Italy for fears of quarantine

Some tanker operators in the "West of Suez" market are declining to load cargoes in Italy, due to risks that they might be asked to "quarantine" when they discharge elsewhere, according to a Platts report.

Although Novorossiisk is the only port known to have said it will not accept vessels that have just discharged in Italy for a quarantine period of 14 days.
