New recruitment service enables ship owners to recruit faster than ever

Oct 21 2021

OSM Maritime launches new recruitment services which aim to reduce the time it takes to find the right people for the job.

By utilizing new technology, OSM Maritime has developed a recruitment service that solves the ship owners urgent need for available and qualified candidates. The new recruitment platform enables OSM’s recruiters to quickly identify available seafarers with the right certificates, courses and vessel type experience. The new recruitment service is named OSM Recruitment and will be offered to ship owners around the world that handle recruitment inhouse.

Simultaneously as creating the new recruitment platform, OSM Maritime is growing a global pool of seafarers who are interested in new work opportunities. Within a short time, more than forty thousand seafarers have registered their profile with OSM Recruitment. – “The combination of an up-to-date global pool of seafarers, efficient technology and maritime expertise is unique”, says Eirik Steen Nøding, Director of OSM Recruitment.

The new service will not only solve the ship owners urgent needs for capable seafarers but at the same time it find work to thousands of people. – “The feedback from both seafarers and ship owners is very positive. Many ship owners are struggling to recruit crew, and we believe the time is very good for launching the services now”, says Eirik Steen Nøding in OSM.
