Furetank releases the very first sustainability report

May 12 2022

We are proud to release the very first Furetank sustainability report, summing up all of our green efforts during 2021.

You are most welcome to read about how Furetank...

… Made our VINGA ship series best in class globally in meeting IMO-international climate goals for shipping
… Continuously develop our safety work to the highest standard
… Came to choose dual fuel LNG/LBG propulsion
… Optimize our trading pattern to further lower emissions
… Offset all remaining CO2 emissions from the VINGA vessels for 2021
… Achieved low noise cargo operations
… Care for the underwater environment and protect sensitive eco systems
… Safeguard diversity, equality and employee well-being

And much more.

All of this in great cooperation with FKAB Marine Design, Wärtsilä Corporation, Svanehøj, the port of Gothenburg, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Gasum, Repsol, STX Group, Gold Standard, ExxonMobil, Alfa Laval, the Swedish shipowners' association, NET Ship Management, Furuno Marine Electronics, Kongsberg Gruppen, Gothia Tanker Alliance and many others.

This is our first report, but certainly not the last. Lots of work is going on in the company to further progress our efforts for a sustainable world – below and above the sea surface, in the atmosphere and on land.
