The tankers Sinar Malahayati and Fortune Pacific XLIX collided in the Sunda Strait, Indonesia, while approaching an oil terminal anchorage at the port of Merak

The tankers Sinar Malahayati and Fortune Pacific XLIX collided in the Sunda Strait, Indonesia, while approaching an oil terminal anchorage at the port of Merak on April 9. The accident occurred as the Fortune Pacific XLIX was leaving the port. The Sinar Malahayati was berthed at the terminal on April 12, while the Fortune Pacific XLIX remained anchored as of April 13.
