Malaysia: MMEA detains domestic tanker suspected of transporting subsidised fuel

The vessel was suspected of committing an offense under the Supply Control Act 1961 for carrying subsidised fuel

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) on Sunday (27 August) said it detained a domestic oil tanker suspected of transporting subsidised fuel at 17.5 nautical miles west of Tanjung Lobang on 26 August.
