API Marine systems for Chinese newbuildings

API Marine has won contracts to supply the complete monitoring and control systems for a series of newbuilding tankers in China.

The company signed the contracts with Nantong Tongbao Shipyard to fit four, plus four, plus two, plus two optional newbuilding chemical and product tankers with the systems.

API will supply cargo tank monitoring systems, high level/overfill alarm systems, remote sounding systems, valve remote control systems, and loading computers to the shipyard.

The owner of the newbuildings is Dingheng Shipping, China.

The contract was won in close co-operation with API Marine’s partner in China, Greenship in Shanghai, the company said.
