The order for the IMO type approved and USCG AMS-certified systems includes 10 BALPURE BP 3000 systems, each with treatment capacities of 3,000 cu m per hour, which will be installed on the 110,000 dwt Aframaxes and four type BP 4000 systems, each with treatment capacities of 4,000 cu m per hour. The latter will be installed on the 160,000 dwt Suezmaxes.
The BALPURE units will be delivered to the STX shipyard for installation between February 2015 and March 2016.

In addition to being IMO type approved and USCG AMS certified, the system has been Bureau Veritas type approved and ABS design assessed.
