During her three week drydocking at Nauta shipyard in Poland, the 2010-built Suezmax ‘Advantage Spring’, owned by Genel Denizcilik Nakliyati underwent routine maintenance and had her drive shaft and propeller dismantled, while under the care of shipping and logistics service provider GAC Poland.

Established in 1990, GAC Poland works with the yard to offer specialist shiprepairs, conversion and drydocking for all vessel types to owners, operators and charterers.

This alliance between GAC and the Nauta shipyard specialises in complex repairs, modification, modernisations, refurbishments and conversions, including vessel lengthening. The fully equipped yard operates four floating docks and a graving dock, and has exclusive access to a 380 m x 70 m drydock.

"The client was pleased with our specific expertise and the service we provided and entrusted us with another drydocking agency job," said Ryszard Karger, GAC Poland's managing director. "Landing the job gave us cause for celebration at a significant time as we mark our 25th anniversary."
