Large liquid cargo tank equipment order

API Marine has signed a contract with Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering to supply remote level gauging and cargo tank monitoring systems, plus loading computers.

Chinese shipbuilder Taizhou plans to build two, option two, option two 34,500 dwt tankers over the next three years.

The tankers have been ordered by the Nova Group of Singapore, which is involved in the transportation of a variety of cargoes, including woodchips, pulp and paper, crude and refined palm oil, fertilisers and coal.
