MOL Chemical Tankers expansion underway

Aug 30 2019

The full integration process of MOL Nordic Tankers (MOLNT) into MOL Chemical Tankers (MOLCT) has started and is to be completed next year.

MOLCT acquired MOLNT in January, 2019.

As a result, former CEO, Per Sylvester Jensen, and CFO, Henriette Schütze have left the company.

With immediate effect, Tsuneo Watanabe, MOLCT CEO, took on the position as MOLNT CEO, while Annette Hasenberg became Executive Vice President, supported by a management team of Commercial Senior Vice Presidents, Howard Powers, Anders Hannested and Niels Mathiesen.

MOLNT’s four offices in Copenhagen, Stamford, Houston and Bogotá will remain and once full integrated, the headquarters will be located in Singapore.

Watanabe said;“The MOLNT business and trade lanes are of high value and a very important part of our core business and ambitious plans to grow MOLCT into being one of the most attractive and leading chemical tanker companies worldwide.”
