Nautisk has announced a new partnership with SRH International to offer a leasing option to achieve compliant digital bridge operations quickly and at a low monthly cost.
The package consists of a dual ECDIS from Danelec Marine, with Nautisk’s ENCs with inclusive access to their company’s complete digital charts portfolio.
John Dawson, Nautisk manager of partner relations, said: “We are pleased to announce this partnership as it provides a new route for the industry to access market leading digital navigation solutions efficiently and cost effectively. The flat fee from $23 per day makes predictive budgeting simple, and will make it more affordable for those shipping companies looking to meet SOLAS ECDIS implementation requirements.”
The dual ECDIS features two monitors (19”, 24” or 27”), warranty coverage for the full leasing period with a global service network offering fixed installation costs. Included within the package is use of Nautisk Neptune, a real-time vessel information service designed to streamline work flow and reduce workload.
Steve Thomas, SRH International general manager, said: “The system operates Danelec Marine’s own exclusive SWAP technology, which is user friendly and enables fast and easy replacement of equipment. This ensures uptime is maximised to keep ships on schedule without having to reinstall software or reconfiguring the system.
“Complemented by a global service network and a variety of training options including CBT, the leasing package provides a quick solution to what has previously been a laborious, time-intensive procurement process and an expensive capital purchase,” he said.
Dawson added: “This partnership demonstrates our growing effectiveness throughout all bridge operations and our dedication to developing flexible and effective solutions that will benefit the digital navigation capabilities of today’s shipping industry.”
