The Board members bring with them a wealth of international experience and are part of a well-connected network that will enable the firm to develop and grow into a leading provider of maritime security.
“The Board’s strategic vision is to build upon these networks, broaden the firm’s offering in its key markets and suitably augment its capabilities. I am delighted that we have the support of the board to spearhead our initiatives in this regard.”
COO is Tristan Rogers, who, as well as having over 18 years’ experience in operational and maritime protection, comes from a background in the armed forces. He said at the inauguration: “The growth in the volume of commodities transported by sea is likely to reach 50% over the next two decades, however, the level of protection provided by the international naval community is likely to reduce considerably in light of global defence cutbacks.
“Therefore, we envisage that shipowners and operators will inevitably turn to maritime security companies, like Strategic Protection Ltd and the new technologically advanced security solutions the industry is able to provide,” he said.
