Aug 12 2016

On 1st August, 2016, Primorsk Trade Port loaded the 65,000 dwt products tanker ‘Stena Premium’ with 57 000 tonnes of diesel the port operator NCSP Group said.

This was the first time that a large diesel cargo had been loaded at the terminal, the port operator claimed.

Sultan Batov, CEO of PJSC NCSP, said: “Increasing tanker loads from 30-40,000 tonnes to 60,000 tonnes enables us to make maximum use of the berths’ capacity and opens new opportunities for export of oil products.”

”To increase tanker loads while preserving navigation safety, PTP has implemented some activities, which resulted in increasing the maximum draft at berth ? 8 to 13.7 m for vessels up to 76,400 dwt, and to 10.8 m for vessels up to 47,100 dwt at berth ? 9. New berth parameters were enacted by the order of the Captain of the Port of Primorsk in April, 2016”, said Primorsk Trade Port CEO, Sergey Shkurat.
