Reed to become Maersk Tankers’vice chairman

Paul Reed, former CEO of BP’s Integrated Supply and Trading division, is set to join Maersk Tankers’ board as Vice Chairman. Reed was employed by BP for 37 years where since 2010, he has led the oil major’s Integrated Supply and Trading division to become one of the industry’s largest oil and gas traders, serving over 12,000 customers across more than 140 countries. He retired from BP last year.

Paul comes from one of the largest customers of Maersk Tankers and our industry. As a leader, he holds a compelling record of building strong teams, embracing diversity of thought,” said Robert Uggla, CEO of AP Møller Holding and chairman of Maersk Tankers’ board. 
 
Reed has held various leadership positions across BP’s global business, especially in commercial and trading functions. He also has board positions at ICE Futures Europe and Marquard and Bahls.
