SCF gets Qualship nod

Aug 08 2014

In July of this year, the US Coast Guard (USCG) officially confirmed that 20 Sovcomflot (SCF) Group vessels had been added to its Qualship 21 programme (Quality Shipping for the 21st Century).

As a result, from 1st July, 2014, the number of SCF Group vessels participating in the Qualship 21 programme doubled from 22 to 44 ships.

“This is a remarkable accomplishment and I applaud the efforts of your organisation and the Master and crew of the qualified vessels for setting such a high standard of excellence,” said an official letter from USCG command, Washington (DC) to SCF.
