Seafarer Mental Health and the Crew Change Crisis

Sep 10 2020

North P&I Club and the Thome Group invite you to participate in our webinar “Seafarer Mental Health and the Crew Change Crisis”.

With many serving seafarers well beyond the terms of their original contracts, separated from the support systems of friends and family, mental health support is now more important than ever. Our panel of experts will discuss:

  • Identifying and and anticipating mental health issues
  • Support systems available to seafarers
  • How companies are supporting their people and what more can be done
  • Isolation, connections with loved ones and the role of internet at sea
  • How social media can both contribute to and harm mental health and how it should be managed

We’ll be joined by a cross section of industry experts including:

  • Dr Arthur Diskin - Global Medical Director, Future Care
  • Belinda Ward - Director, Claims, North P&I Club
  • Simon Frank - Chief Human Resources Officer, Thome Group
  • Dustin Eno - COO & Crisis Response Manager, Navigate Response

You can sign up to join us live, or receive a copy of the recorded replay here
