Small product tanker released by pirates

The product tanker ‘Hai Soon 6’, which was hijacked on 25th July in the Gulf of Guinea, was reportedly released with the crew unharmed but some of the cargo stolen.

The Kiribati-flagged 5,500 dwt vessel, operated by Hai Soon Ship Management of Singapore, was said to have been seized by pirates while undergoing bunkering operations.
