Venezula court battle over tanker cargo - Bloomberg

Feb 18 2020

A crude oil tanker has been floating offshore Venezuela for a year, in a complex court struggle involving US refinery operator CITGO and US sanctions against PDVSA, according to a Bloomberg article.

"The roughly 960,000 barrels of Venezuelan crude that was once bound for a Citgo refinery in the U.S. was instead discharging in the Port of Jose at a terminal run by Petroleos de Venezuela SA, the national oil company controlled by Maduro"
