SSY opens tanker office in Madrid

Simpson Spence Young (SSY) has opened an office in Madrid, Spain, bringing the total number of offices worldwide to 18.

Its primary focus and expertise is CPP tankers and MR/LR/LR2s.

The new office is headed by Mike Driscoll, Director in the Tanker Department, working alongside Pepe Alvarez-Silva.

To mark the official opening, the Madrid office recently hosted the annual meeting of SSY’s 25 partners.

Mark Richardson, SSY chairman, said: “We wish Mike and his team all the very best in Madrid. It’s certainly an exciting time in shipbroking and we continue to look for opportunities to invest in infrastructure to support our growth and to better service our customers.”
